  • Receive all issues of the MID-AMERICAN. This newsletter reports the activities of the Mid-America Orchid Congress meetings, exchanges ideas on various subjects affecting local orchid society as discussed at the Affiliated Societies Breakfast and highlights activities of local orchid societies.


The cost to be a member of MAOC and participate in these activities is modest: $0.50 per member or $15.00 (whichever is greater)

We invite all who grow and love orchids to come to our monthly judging sessions.  Whether you have an orchid that you feel is of exceptional quality or you simply want to learn or perhaps even become a judge, please come visit us, or Contact Us for additional information. We meet at the Atlanta Botanical Garden (1345 Piedmont Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30309) on  the second Saturday of each month.  Training (open to visitors) begins at 12:30 p.m.  Orchids for judging can be entered from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.  Formal judging begins at 2:00 p.m.
