The cost to be a member of MAOC and participate in these activities is modest: $0.50 per member or $15.00 (whichever is greater)
Orchid societies should support education and conservation projects. As a member of MAOC your society would assist in funding the development of orchid collections and research projects:

We invite all who grow and love orchids to come to our monthly judging sessions. Whether you have an orchid that you feel is of exceptional quality or you simply want to learn or perhaps even become a judge, please come visit us, or Contact Us for additional information. We meet at the Atlanta Botanical Garden (1345 Piedmont Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30309) on the second Saturday of each month. Training (open to visitors) begins at 12:30 p.m. Orchids for judging can be entered from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Formal judging begins at 2:00 p.m.
